FFT’s present 4-year, €56 mil ($80.2 mil) deal with EBU from 2008 to 2011 and that deal was already a 69% jump on the previous deal, thanks to increased interest in Spain. Outside of Europe, Sportfive is the FFT’s consultant for broadcast rights sales in Asia and Oceania (exc. Australia and Japan).
